A group of volunteers called “Laurens Together” met Sunday, June 27, to beautify Town Hall in Laurens, according to a media release.

With donated flowers from the Mount Vision Garden Center, the volunteers set about laying down flowers at the town hall.

“We want to show people what this group is about, which is caring about our community,” said Peggy Liddle, chair of Laurens Together, in the press release.  “We hope that as we do more projects like this, more people will join us.”

The group also hopes to tidy up Doris I. Schlee Park, along with the parking area.
