Cops Shop for Benefit of Kids

ONEONTA—Members of the Village of Cooperstown police force joined other New York State and Otsego County agencies at Walmart for “Shop with a Cop” on Saturday, December 16. Eighteen children with a combined 23 police officers got into the holiday spirit.

“It was such an enjoyable day for the law enforcement agencies to interact with the kids and their families,” said Village of Cooperstown Police Chief Frank Cavalieri. “We helped to ensure they have a merry Christmas. We truly appreciate all of the support and all of the people who made donations to make this such a massive success.”
