IN MEMORIAM: Daniel Heath, 76;
Accident Victim Was Army Veteran
ONEONTA – The Oneonta man struck by a car in downtown Oneonta last Wednesday was an Army veteran and an active in the Nader Towers Tenant Association, according to his obituary.
Daniel Heath, 76, passed away that evening, Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015, at Bassett Hospital.
He was born July 31, 1939, son of the late William Olin and Edith (Wilber) Heath.
Dan served in the Army from 1964 to 1966.
He worked as a car salesman for Cater Lincoln Mercury Sales in Yorkville for many years.
He was a 26-year member of the New Hartford American Legion and VFW. Dan was also a representative on the Nader Towers Tenant Association.
He is survived by a sister, Beatrice Allen; brother, Fred Heath; many nieces and nephews.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
