IN MEMORIAM:  Dorcas Yoder, 24;

Young Mother Succumbs To Cancer

MORRIS – Dorcas D. Yoder, 24, who had been fighting cancer for the past year, has passed away.

She was the daughter of Daniel and Iva Weaver. She and her husband, Josh, were married in August 2016, and they brought into being a beautiful son, Nathan, nine months ago.

Visitation will be at the home of Daniel and Iva Weaver, 1273 East Side Road, Morris, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, at the Weavers, with burial in the Morris Amish cemetery nearby.

The Johnston Funeral Home reports there will be hundreds of out-of-town visitors on the roads of Morris this weekend as family and friends from several states coming for the funeral, and advised drivers to be alert, cautious and patient.
