Extras Sought for Horror Film

CAPITAL REGION—Brooklyn’s Bad Taste Video team is coming up to shoot their sophomore feature film, “Flapjax,” in the Capital Region this month. Currently, they are seeking out background actors to participate in their shoot, no experience required. “Flapjax” tells the story of an overzealous fast food manager who unknowingly executes the sinister plans of an alien race through a popular new menu item called “Flapjax.” Producers of the film are seeking restaurant patrons, concert goers and aliens. For the sake of their modest budget, this role is volunteer. However, actors will receive lunch, a credit in the end scroll of the film, and an IMDb credit as well. Those interested in becoming involved should e-mail aerin.badtaste@gmail.com or text (503) 853-0477. To learn more about the project, head over to their instagram @bad.taste.video. Cherry Valley resident RJ Young is currently leading a team of experts as they develop special effects for the film in an East Springfield garage.
