Why is it the GOP would ask Fernandez not to run and not let the members of the party make the decision based on facts. Because he is attempting to uncover the truth which the current administration at the SD didn’t care to find out about? Apparently they didn’t speak to Cole themselves about this situation because it would have been a violation of Sheriff Devlins policies, how laughable. Last week I read a letter from an individual insinuating the Sheriff was being held accountable for his sons actions. He’s not, he’s being held accountable for his own actions or lack thereof in disciplining his son/subordinate who is his employee. I understand as a father why he isn’t, but as the top law enforcement officer in Otsego County, it’s his responsibility and he has failed miserably, placing his sons best interests above the interests of the people of Otsego County and therefore needs to go. Seems like the GOP is a little concerned, I’m just not sure why given the facts and circumstances, is this just the good old boys club trying to keep their man in control?
