Gibson Aboard ‘Toys For Tots’ Train,

Stops In Oneonta With Santa, Soldiers

Kate Thomas, Kinderhook, an Army volunteer on the Toys For Tots train, sought out U.S. Rep. Chris Gibson, R-19 – himself a Kinderhook resident – in the crowd at the train’s Oneonta stop this afternoon to thank him for representing her hometown. The train, carrying Gibson, Mr. and Mrs. Claus, service members and Amtrak President/CEO Joe Boardman, made 11 stops in New York State today, handing out toys, cookies, coats and hats to children and families along the route. Editorial: Get Your Holiday On
