ONEONTA – Angelina C. “Gina” Ennamorato, 87, an operator with New York Telephone in Oneonta for 36 years, passed away Thursday, Nov. 03, 2016,, at Fox Nursing Home.

Calling hours are 5-7 this evening at the Lester R. Grummons Funeral Home.

She was born Jan. 15, 1929 in Oneonta, the daughter of Louis and Josephine (Colone) Colone. She married Andrew V. Ennamorato on Oct. 15, 1950 in Oneonta.


She retired from New York Telephone in May 1987.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Church and the Rosary Society and the NY Telephone Pioneers. Gina also spent many hours volunteering at Fox Hospital.

Gina is survived by her husband, Andrew V. Ennamorato of Oneonta; a daughter, Andrea Brandt and her husband, Peter, of Cornwall; a son, Mark Ennamorato and his wife, Diane, of Santa Cruz, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Mark Colone and his wife, Armida, of Oneonta and Louis Colone and his wife, Beverly, of Oneonta; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her sister, Philomena Naples.

A funeral mass will be at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, at St. Mary’s Church with Rev. David Mickiewicz, officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Emmons.
