Grants Available To Non-Profits
For Management, Governance
ONEONTA – Applications for grants for non-profits to improve their governance and management through the Otsego County Mini-Grant Program are being accepted through March 1.
NYCON, the New York Council of Non-Profits, is administering the grants, provided by the Scriven Foundation.
In all, $45,000 is available, as follows:
• Up to $1,000 for general governance & management assistance
• Up to $1,500 for general governance & management assistance from NYCON
• Up to $2,000 for merger, consolidation or subsidiary development and for crisis management intervention services
• Up to $500 in scholarships (maximum of $1,000) for participation at a capacity building conference sponsored by NYCON.
