CANCELLED – MUSIC FESTIVAL – 7 p.m. Cooperstown Summer Music Festival opens with free performance by Caroga Arts Ensemble, led by cellist Kyle Price. This concert is intended as a gift for the Cooperstown Community and the music will range from bluegrass and classical to jazz and pop. There is truly something for everyone here. FAMILY FARM FUN – 11 a.m – 12:30 p.m. Bring the children, 4-8+, for fun program to learn about the wild landscape around us. Includes reading of ‘Wild Tracks! A Guide to Nature’s Footprints’ by Jim Arosky followed by art project. Continued Thursday with scavenger hunt and finishes with historic childrens game. Free with admission, reservations recommended.
