ONEONTA – Hartwick College announced today it will provide a $10,000 Founders’ Award scholarships to each newly enrolled first-year and transfer student who is a resident of New York State, beginning in fall 2018.
Historically, 75 percent of Hartwick students are New Yorkers.
“This new award is intended to send a clear message to families from New York state that we understand their concerns about college affordability,” President Margaret L. Drugovich. “… Many Hartwick alumni have told me that they could not have obtained their Hartwick education except for the generosity of others. The Founders’ Award continues that tradition.”
