IN MEMORIAM: Jennifer Lundy, 45;
Loved Life, And Taken From It Young
MILFORD – Jennifer Lundy, who worked for 23 years at Otsego Manor until her battle with lung cancer required her to stop, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017, at her home in Milford where she lived with her Mom surrounded by her family, loved ones and beloved pets.
She was born on Sept. 25, 1972, at Cobleskill Hospital to Norine Webster Lundy of Milford and Brian Lundy of Oneonta.
She grew up in South Valley with her close cousins and brothers as playmates. She graduated from Cherry Valley-Springfield Central School in 1991, and immediately she went to work at Otsego Manor, where she remained for 23 years. She also had been a volunteer fireman and EMT.
Jenn was very family oriented and was bought up with strong family values. The memories of her grandfather and grandmother Webster and their values helped shape Jenn’s choices throughout life.
Although Jenn never had children of her own she had a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephew and her close friends children. Her mother, father and three brothers were her anchor in life and she will be so missed by them.
Her Mom was her kindred spirit and their fanatic love of the Beatles was infamous to all. Her last big outing was to a live Paul McCartney concert and she was bound and determined to go even though she was so ill.
She loved painting, hiking, walking her dogs, being with her dogs and cats, music, caring for the elderly which many would have to otherwise these people would have to look at paying for long-term care for, her plants, the outdoors, Christmas and so many other things. She was so full of life and bought a smile to everyone’s face when she was around. Her crazy antics, infectious smile, wacky laughter, dedication and carefree ways will be missed. She lived life on her terms and left her imprint on so many people.
She is in God’s arms now in a healthy pain free body. There will be many rejoicing at the pearly gates of heaven to welcome her home. Our hearts break but take solace in knowing we will see you again and rejoice in the house of our Lord.
She is survived by her mother Norine Webster Lundy of Milford; her father Brian Lundy of Oneonta; three brothers, Donavan (Donna) Lundy of South Valley, Brandon (Kirsten) Lundy and children Nicole Deselets, Jessica Lundy, Brandon Lundy of Middlefield, and Brian Lundy of South Valley, and her beloved cousin Heather Webster of South Valley. Also, close friends Linda Provenzano, Sally Bergen, and Kim Grimm and children of Springfield. Also many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins to numerous to mention individually but all special to Jenn.
She was predeceased by grandparents Stanley and Gertrude Webster , her aunts Pam Olmstead and Anita Webster Lundy, uncles Richard Lundy and George Webster, cousins Melissa and Dawn Webster, and dear friend Mike Herbert.
