WEST ONEONTA – Funeral services for John C. Dillenbeck, 74, of West Oneonta at retired Amphenol employee, will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday at the Westcott-Madden Funeral Home in Unadilla.

Mr. Dillenbeck died died Sunday, May 22, at Fox Hospital.

He was born on June 25, 1941, in Binghamton, to Harold and Leah (Nichols) Dillenbeck.  He married the former Viola M. (Brown) Butler on March 26, 1964.

He served in the Marines before joining Amphenol.  He was also a former pilgrim degree and past governor of the Moose Club.

Survivors include step-son Howard “Stub” and Debra Butler, Bainbridge, step-daughter Roxanne E. Richardson, Venice, Fla., step-son James D. Butler, Sidney; sisters, Donna Benning, Oneonta, Pat Torres, Oneonta, Linda and Joseph Fisher, Alexandria Bay, and Sharon (Jerry) Hammond, Otego; brother Chuck Dillenbeck, Connecticut, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He was peredeceased by his wife, Viola, parents, infant sisiter Pam, and brothers Harold and Thomas Dillenbeck.

Calling hours will be 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service. Burial will be in Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Unadilla.

In Memoriam: Claude R. Holbrook

OTEGO—Claude Robert Holbrook, “Bob”, “Eli”, “Mortimer”, passed away peacefully at his home and went to join his Lord and Savior Jesus on February 29, 2024.
Bob was born to Robert and Alta (Springett) Holbrook on December 17, 1938. He grew up in West Oneonta, New York. He operated a farm on the Baker Hill Family Homestead for many years. He loved the outdoors and was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. He started his own excavation business and gravel bank, and operated it with his sons. He was a strong supporter of Trump and a leader of the Laurens Property Rights group. He was a long-time member of Spirit and Truth Christian Assembly. He will be dearly missed.…
