IN MEMORIAM
Kyle W. Bronson, 28, Cooperstown;
Leaves Daughter, 2nd Due Any Day
COOPERSTOWN – Kyle Willard Bronson, beloved father, son, and friend to many, died tragically Tuesday, July 18, 2017, as the result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on County Highway 11 in the Town of Hartwick. He was 28.
Born Jan. 19, 1989, at Bassett Hospital, Kyle was a son of Michael J. Bronson, Sr., and Patricia Mower Bronson.
Raised in Cooperstown, he graduated from Cooperstown Central School with the Class of 2008. For the past seven years he had been employed as a residential counselor at Springbrook, where he was very well-respected and liked by the staff and residents alike.
Throughout his life, Kyle would do whatever he could to help just about anyone, and would always drop whatever he was doing to do so. This held true especially when it came to work that needed doing on the family farm. His favorite saying was, “If there’s a will there’s a way”, and he lived this motto every day of his brief life. He loved his dogs, had a passion for hunting, and was an adrenaline junkie – he had “a need for speed”.
Most important, Kyle remained a dedicated family man who constantly doted on his daughter, Skyla – whom he loved dearly – and he was anxiously awaiting the birth of his second daughter, Sophia, who is due any day. Kyle will be fondly remembered as the glue that kept his entire family together – he will be greatly missed by them and his many, many friends.
Kyle is survived by his girlfriend, Lindsay Arnold and their beloved daughter, Skyla Bronson of Cooperstown; his mother, Patricia E. Bronson and step-father, Larry J. Kukenberger, Sr. of Cooperstown; his father, Michael J. Bronson, Sr. of Cooperstown; a sister, Donna Lutz and husband, Nicholas, and their children, Addilee, Dakota and Kenzie of Milford; two brothers, Mike and Amanda Bronson and their children, Hayden and Mason of Oneonta, and Keith Bronson and wife, Veronica, and their children Parker, Miranda and Sage of Cooperstown; a stepbrother, Larry J. “L.J.” Kukenberger, Jr. of Richfield Springs, and many, many close friends.
He was predeceased by his favorite aunt, Margaret Orendorff, who died July 29, 2016.
A gathering for family and friends is planned 1-6 p.m. Saturday, July 29, at the family farm at 1028 County Highway 33, Cooperstown.
Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Connell, Dow & Deysenroth Funeral Home.
