Editor’s Note:  Here is the job description for the Cooperstown village administrator position.  This week, the Village Board appointed long-time Village Clerk Teri Barown to the position, the first person to fill it in 20 years.

VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR 

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Has responsible charge of administration for all village functions and business under the general direction of the Mayor and Village Trustees; does related work as required.
