Man Charged With Drunk Driving,
Leaving Scene Of Crash In Sidney
UNADILLA – A Middletown man was arrested at the Kwik Fill gas station here at 3:11 p.m. yesterday after leaving the scene of a property-damage crash in Sidney, Troop C reports.
Robert J. Stutzer, 39, was also charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the second degree, both misdemeanors, and several tickets.
Dispatched to the gas station, troopers concluded Stutzer was impaired. He was arrested and refused to submit to a breath sample during processing.
Stutzer was arraigned in the town of Sidney Court and remanded to the Delaware County Jail on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 property bond. His next court date is March 14, 2019.
Driving whilst under the influence of a substance can seriously impair your judgment on the road, just like Stutzer found out when he was arrested and charged with a DWI and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation. His actions could have been prevented, and now he must await his fate at his next court date. He may want to think about getting in touch with a DWI Defense Attorney, similar to Jason Katims, (Visit www.jasonkatims.com) who will be able to help him to receive the best outcome when it comes to any sentencing that he may have. Not only can driving under the influence have devastating consequences for yourself, but it also puts other drivers on the road at risk too.
