With Husband, Operated Dairy Farm
MILFORD – Marion R. Cotten, 84, who with her husband operated a Town of Milford dairy farm for 36 years, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2019, at Bassett Hospital.
Born Aug. 1, 1935, in the Town of Butternuts, Marion was the daughter of Fields and Lulu (Smith) Miller.
She was raised in the family home on Fields Miller Road (named for the family) and graduated from Gilbertsville High School in the Class of 1955. She married her sweetheart, Lloyd Cotten on Nov. 17, 1956.

In her spare time, Marion was a homemaker, baker (she was well known for her apple pies), maker of crafts of all sorts (crocheting, knitting, beading and plastic canvas arts) and enjoyed frequenting garage and lawn sales.
Marion is survived by her two sons, Edward (Debi) Cotten of the Milford area, and Dennis Cotten (Lisa Fleming), also of the Milford area; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
