ONEONTA – Thelma J. James, 87, a former resident of Los Angeles and New York City, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016 at AO Fox Nursing Home in Oneonta.

She was born on January 25, 1929 in New York City, the daughter of Justus and Else (Ketels) Lorenzen. She married Luther James who predeceased her in 2006.

Ron was born on May 28, 1944 to William J. and Evelyn M. Peters in NYC. He attended Great Neck High School, where he acquired a band of lifelong friends and graduated in the Class of 1962.
