3 Benefits As Part Of Opening

ONEONTA – Moe’s Southwest Grill is opening its Oneonta restaurant at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27, across from Southside Mall’s main entrance on the site of the former Neptune Diner, and is planning three community benefits Wednesday and Thursday.

The first is 5-8 p.m. Wednesday: all you can eat for $10, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to Oneonta Middle School.  The event will be repeated Thursday evening, to benefit Oneonta High School.

The second is 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, with a College V.I.P. Party for all students, faculty, and staff of SUNY Oneonta and Hartwick College. The first 50 customers through the door will receive free Moe’s burritos for a year* and the first 600 will receive a free Moe’s lunch**. In addition, free Moe’s spirit t-shirts will be given to the first 600 customers in line for the College V.I.P. Party.

“The culture of Moe’s Southwest Grill is focused on the community and we want to make sure we are actively involved in the lives of its residents to show that we really care about them,” said franchisee Larry Wilson.

Wilson owns several Moe’s restaurants in New York and Pennsylvania and was named Moe’s Top Franchisee worldwide last year.
