MO’NE DAVIS DONATES JERSEY

TO BASEBALL HALL OF FAME

Mo'Ne Davis, the first girl to pitch a winning game in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa., in August, donated her jersey from that game to the Baseball Hall of Fame a few minutes ago. Mo’Ne Davis, who in August became the first girl to pitch a winning game in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa., donated her Taney Little League jersey from that game to the Baseball Hall of Fame a few minutes ago. Accepting the donation is Hall President Jeff Idelson. Stocking, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on May 17, 2023 at the age of 100.  Virginia was born in Cooperstown on December 2, 1922 to Earl and Catherine Richards.
