After an hour and 24 minutes of determination, Matthew Levinson, a student at Oneonta Job Corps Academy, crossed the finish line of his first race, the Mother’s Day 5K on the runway at the Oneonta Municipal Airport. Runners who had already finished ran back out to walk with him and support him all the way to the end. In total, 227 people participated in the race on the tarmac, including U.S. Re.
