ELECTION NIGHT 2016
Mowers Tops Stolzer
In Town Of Oneonta
WEST ONEONTA – Randal I. Mowers has beaten Mike Stolzer for the Oneonta Town Board seat, 1,235 to 900.
Mowers, who has run Mowers Towing Service, a family business, since 1992, is a lifelong town native who has been serving on the Zoning Board of Appeals. His election tips the balance back in the direction of the Republicans.
Democrat Stolzer, who is a landlord who operates an art gallery on Main Street, had been appointed to the town board vacancy the first of the year, succeeding Andrew Stammell, who moved up to the Otsego County Board of Representatives.
