Newcomer Kennedy Beats Lentz;

Powers In; Wilber Tops Bachman

With results firming up quickly, newcomer Meg Kennedy, a Republican, has  beaten incumbent county Rep. Ed Lentz, R-New Lisbon, in District 5.  She will have the greatest number of weighted votes on the county board.

Veteran county Rep. Jim Powers, R-South New Berlin, turned back Democrat Theresa Winchester of Gilbertsville for a third time.

In former Rep. Betty Ann Schwerd’s district, Burlington Town Justice Dan Wilber, a Republican, defeated Russ Bachman, the Democrat and former acting county treasurer.
