Nolan’s Work Featured in Arkell Solo Show
CANAJOHARIE—Mary Nolan, local Cooperstown artist, has been selected to exhibit a solo show at The Arkell Museum. Her exhibit, “Moods of Oneida,” features the landscapes, water, and weather of Oneida Lake painted with movement and atmosphere. The show is on view through October 8. Nolan has a long career as an exhibiting and teaching artist, focusing on Cooperstown, Maine, and Cape Cod regional landscapes. Many of her small onsite oil paintings are used as studies for larger studio paintings. She maintains a studio in Cooperstown. Admission to the Regional Art Galleries, at 2 Erie Boulevard, Canajoharie, is free.
