Oneonta Pedestrian Struck By Car

Dies This Evening At Bassett Hospital

ONEONTA – Daniel Heath, 76, the pedestrian struck by a car at Main and Chestnut this morning, has died at Bassett Hospital, OPD Lt. Douglas Brenner said a few minutes ago.  Brenner said he was alerted by the family to the elderly man’s passing.

The driver in this morning’s mishap, which occurred about 10:18, had been ticketed with failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.  He is Mark Fedorov, 34, Town of Maryland.

Brenner said the investigation is ongoing.

RSS wants taxpayers to pay for it; they trying to circumvent public input and they’re using strong-arm tactics to get approval to start construction. Therefore, I oppose it.
