Oneonta’s County Rep Candidates

Debate This Evening At Morris Hall

ONEONTA – Six candidates from Oneonta running for the Otsego County Board of Representatives will debate at 7 this evening at SUNY Onenta’s Morris Hall. They are:

  • District 12  (Wards 3 & 4):   Craig Gelbsman and Adrienne Martini
  • District 13  (Wards 5 & 6):   Leonard Carson, Jr. and Danny Lapin
  • District 14  (Wards 7 & 8):   Lizabeth Shannon and Wilson Wells

The debate is the first of two organized and moderated this week by the League of Women Voters, Oneonta chapter.

At 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oneonta Town Supervisor Bob Wood and challenger Mike Butler will debate, culminating an evening where county Rep. Andrew Stammel and challenger Breck Tarbell will read statements, and the four candidates for Oneonta Town Board – incumbents Patricia Jacob and Randy Mowers, and challengers Dan Baker and Jim McCue – will participate in a panel discussion.
