IN MEMORIAM: Betty Anne Schwerd, 66; Former County Representative EDMESTON – Betty Anne Schwerd, 66, of Edmeston, the former District 10 representative to the Otsego County Board and Burlington town supervisor,  died Saturday, March 18, in Cooperstown. As a Republican and Conservative, she served five two-year terms on the county board, representing Burlington, Exeter, Plainfield and Edmeston, until a primary loss in the 2015 elections. Prior to that, she served for six years as town supervisor. A full obituary is forthcoming.…
