Hall of Fame To Host Banana Ball at the Hall on Friday, Sept. 15

The Savannah Bananas have made history with their unforgettable brand of baseball. Gravestone To Be Dedicated on Saturday

On Saturday, September 2 at 10 a.m., a grave marker dedication will take place for Benjamin Weston, a Revolutionary War ensign in the 9th Connecticut regiment who was residing in the New Lisbon area at the time of his death in 1818. He was born on September 1, 1954 in Oneonta, the son of Edward G. and Ella M. (Tuttle) Burns.

MLB Alumni To Coach Doubleday Field Skills Clinic for Pathfinder Village

Next Tuesday, August 29, Major League Baseball player alumni will join Pathfinder Village residents at Cooperstown’s historic Doubleday Field for a third annual skills clinic starting at 1:30 p.m.
More than 60 players from Edmeston’s Pathfinder Village, a nationally recognized residential community and service provider for people with Down syndrome and other disabilities, will attend to refine their hitting, fielding, and throwing under the tutelage of past professional players.…
