IN MEMORIAM: Rosemary Hall Mulvey, 81;

Lifetime Resident Of Town Of Burlington

BURLINGTON – Rosemary Hall Mulvey, 81, who worked in the Burlington Green General Store before joining Edmeston Central and then county government, passed away Monday Nov. 26, 2018 in Clifton Park, where one of her daughters lives.

Rosemary was born on June 19, 1937, in the Town of Burlington, the daughter of the late Fred and Mary Adams. She married Edwin (Ted) Hall in June of 1956 in Burlington, where they lived and raised their family.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Edwin (Ted) Hall in May 1990. In May 2000, she married Thomas Mulvey, who passed away in May 2016.

She is survived by her daughters Karen Boynton and her husband Chris of Clifton Park, and Connie Head and her husband Rob of Burlington Flats. She is also survived by two grandchildren Emily Head and Bryan Head.

Rosemary was a lifetime resident of the area and a graduate of Edmeston Central School. She worked at various jobs, including tending to the Burlington Green General Store, teacher’s aide at Edmeston Central School, and many years as a social service examiner for Otsego County.   She retired in 1994 to help with her grandchildren.

Rosemary enjoyed gardening, traveling, sewing and attended the Burlington Green Baptist Church. She was also an active member of the Burlington Busy Bees for many years, where she enjoyed quilting with good friends and food.

Calling hours will be 1-2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at the Delker & Terry Funeral Home, 30 South St. Edmeston. A celebration of Rosemary’s life will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Barry Davis officiating.

Spring interment will be in Burlington Green Cemetery.
