ONEONTA – State Sen. Jim Seward, R-Milford, today commended the governor’s selection of Major General Anthony P. German of Oneonta as the 53rd Adjutant General of New York.

Here is the senator’s complete statement:

“I was proud to move General German’s nomination as Major General of the New York Air National Guard, and am extremely pleased to see him continue to advance and take on new responsibilities.  He is a true leader and his diverse experience both on the ground and in the air will serve us well.”

RSS wants taxpayers to pay for it; they trying to circumvent public input and they’re using strong-arm tactics to get approval to start construction. Therefore, I oppose it. RSS wants to build a 64-unit project for low- and moderate-income people that will include 14 apartments reserved for individuals recovering from drug and alcohol abuse.
