2 Days, 2 Crack Raids

ONEONTA – Police Thursday executed a warrant at 8 Wells Ave., seizing one ounce of crack cocaine, a set of digital scales, drug packaging material and $22,000 in cash, according to a state police press release.
After the search, Godfrey A. Little, 33, who lives at 8 Wells, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a Class B felony, and two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia, second degree, a Class A misdemeanor.
The raid was the second reported seizure of crack cocaine in the city in as many days.
The arrest grew out of a long-term drug investigation by the state police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, assisted by Troop C troopers and the Oneonta Police Department’s Detective Bureau.
Troopers also searched a 2010 Chevy Malibu owned by Little.
Little was arraigned in the Town of Oneonta Court and remanded to the Otsego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash/$20,000 property bond.
