District 7 Without Representation After Beth Rosenthal Resignation ROSEBOOM – The county Board of Representatives’ District 7 (Cherry Valley, Middlefield and Roseboom) is without representation until the end of the year after the recent resignation of two-term county Rep. Beth Rosenthal. Rosenthal, a Democrat elected in 2012 and reelected in 2014, recently moved to the Albany area.  Her home in Roseboom recently sold, so she no longer had an in-county residence.
