BERTRAM SNAPS 23-YEAR RECORD CCS Hawkeyes Win League Title COOPERSTOWN – CCS Junior Tyler Bertram broke his team’s  23-year-old career-scoring record during last night’s game against Frankfort-Schuyler. Hawkeye Bertram topped Redskin Seth Schaeffer’s 1994 record of 1,714 points, reaching 1,728 in the game. “It’s a nice thing to get out of the way before sectionals,” said his father, Basketball Coach Dave Bertram. It’s Official: CVS Closes On Gutted Cooperstown Motel COOPERSTOWN – CVS Healthcare completed its purchase of the Cooperstown Motel property on Tuesday, according to Martin Tillapaugh, attorney for the estate of Al O’Brien, longtime motel owner.
