Property Owners May Qualify For NY Tax Credits ONEONTA – If you own property in the city’s Walnut Street or downtown National Historic Districts, you may be eligible for state tax credits up to $50,000 to help pay for repairs and maintenance. Same goes if you own individual landmarks or historic district properties in Cherry Valley, Cooperstown, Fly Creek, Gilbertsville, Hartwick, Middlefield, Morris, Richfield Springs, Roseboom, Unadilla, Worcester and South Worcester.
