Council Support Sought To Upgrade Library Park

Council Support Sought To Upgrade Library Park ONEONTA – The Huntington Memorial Library director will ask Common Council Tuesday for a resolution supporting its $500,000 plan to make the park around the park more welcoming and used by the public. The plan, first outlined last November,  includes an overlook, a tented pavilion/entertainment venue, an arboretum, a children’s garden (where children can play or garden), a picnic area, new plantings and a “formalized” sledding slope.…
