IN MEMORIAM:  John P. Lohan, 55; Retired New York City Transit Officer COOPERSTOWN – John P. Lohan, 55, a retired New York City transit officer, passed away peacefully from natural causes on Nov. 11, 2015, at his village home. John was born June 7, 1960, in Brooklyn, the son of John J. and Catherine (Kenny) Lohan.  He graduated from the New York City Police Academy and was an officer with city’s Transit Police.  He retired with the rank of sergeant/detective.…
