Accident Victim Was Morris Man ONEONTA – Oneonta state troopers have identified Guillermo J. Soto, 50, of Morris, as the driver killed in the fatal car accident in the Town of Pittsfield on Saturday morning. One-Car Crash Kills Driver In Pittsfield PITTSFIELD – Oneonta state troopers are investigating a one-vehicle crash that killed a 50-year-old male in the early morning hours Saturday in the Town of Pittsfield. The man, whose name has not been released pending notification of the family, was driving northbound on County Route 18 at approximately 5:35 a.m.  when he drove off the road, striking a tree.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.
