IN MEMORIAM:  Jerry Mowers, 63; Secretary, Oneonta Fire Department ONEONTA – Gerald “Jerry” I. Mowers, 63, who retired from the Oneonta Fire Department after 25 years in 1999, having served as secretary for many years, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Dec. 18, 2015.
