ONEONTA – Rita Monahan Armstrong, 91, a retired Fox Hospital registered nurse, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015. She was born on July 5, 1924 in Auburn, NY, the daughter of Thomas and Carrie (McCabe) Monahan. Rita was a loving and nurturing mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed reading, writing, traveling and volunteered in many capacities throughout her life.
