Cooperstown Boys Fall To Weedsport In Sectionals Despite a strong early showing by Hawkeyes newcomer Kaishaun Jefferson, center, the Hawkeyes were cut down 61-52 by the Weedsport Warriors this afternoon at OCC in the Section III championships. Speaking Of Sports CCS Baseball Wins Section Championship COOPERSTOWN – The Hawkeyes avenged an early season loss to Oriskany last night in an extra-inning 2-1 battle that saw both teams bring their best pitching and defense to the game.  The Hawkeyes emerged the winner after Kendall Haney got a one-out single in the eighth inning that scored Jackson Martz.
