Read, 93, a SUNY Oneonta physics professor who founded the Science Discovery Center, died peacefully at home Saturday, June 29, 2019. He was the founding Director of the Science Discovery Center of Oneonta, renamed in his honor in 2015. Albert was born in Albany to Dr. Albert J. Read and Dana Weitzel Read.
