Temple Beth El Hosts Basya Schechter

Internationally renowned musician and singer Basya Schechter and the Pharoh's Daughter Trio preformed at Oneonta's Temple Beth El on Sunday. When Schechter is not playing in the B'Nai Jeshurun music ensemble in NYC, she tours through America, Eastern and Western Europe, Greece and the UK. She was joined by violinist Meg Okura, (who has recorded with David Bowie, Phillip Glass and Micheal Brecker) and Improv Musician Brian Marsella (who has played Jazz at the LIncoln Center, Central Park Summer Stage, NYC Winter Jazz Festival and the Montreal Jazz Festival.
