Fill 2 Otsego Now Board Spots
COOPERSTOWN – Country Club Automotive proprietor Tom Armao and Springbrook President Patricia Kennedy were appointed this morning to fill two vacancies on Otsego Now, the county IDA.
The county Board of Representatives voted unanimously, with one abstention, at its monthly meeting.
Armao, long active in civic affairs, including as president of the Otsego County Chamber, succeeds Bob Hanft, the J.P. Morgan managing director, who resigned. He has also been active in Citizen Voices, local businessmen interested in promoting the local economy.
Kennedy, who has developed Springbrook, the former Upstate Home for Children, into one of the top five largest employers in the county, succeeds the late Hugh Henderson, former county representative.
