ONEONTA – 30 bags of heroin and 23 bags of crack cocaine were seized and two people arrested in a raid this morning at the Budget Motel on Southside.

Dale K. Rogers, 24 and Rameara N. Sample, 26, both of Brooklyn, were arrested after a joint investigation with the Oneonta Police, State Police and Delaware County Sheriff’s Department into illegal narcotics trafficking in and around the city of Oneonta.

K9 Ozzie was used in the search, and police confiscated 30 glassine bags of heroin with a street value of $600, and 23 knotted bags of crack cocaine, worth approximately $2300.

Both were charged with the class B felony of Criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell in the third degree.  Both were held at the Oneonta Police Department lock up pending arraignment in the Town of Oneonta Court.  If convicted, they each face up to 25 years incarceration.
