IN MEMORIAM: Veteran Wesley Osborne, 55

MARYLAND – Wesley D. Osborne, 55, an Army veteran most recently employed at Wightman’s Lumber in Portlandville, passed away Aug. 24, 2016, at Fox Hospital.

He was born Nov. 25, 1961 in Blossburg, Pa., the son of Harvey Osborne Jr. and Shirley (Scarborough) Osborne.

Wesley graduated from Andrew S. Draper School in Schenevus.

Before Wightman’s, he worked at The Farmhouse Restaurant in Emmons.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and working on wood projects.

He is survived by his son, Joziah Underwood; his brothers, Ricky, Clifford and Lewellyn Osborne and a sister, Beverly Ambrosio; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Carolyn Rifenbark.

A memorial service will be 11am Monday, August 29, 2016 at the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, 155 Main St., Worcester, with the Rev. Keith VanDewerker, officiating.

The burial with military honors will follow at Schenevus Cemetery
