Paints Picture Of ‘Revitalized’ Oneonta

Most of the imposing blocks from Oneonta’s Victorian heyday survive, and the Cuomo Administration is looking to bring back much of the bustle seen here when the city was a railroad hub.

In today’s weekly report, “Morning Headlines,” on WAMC/Northeast Public Radio, Jim Kevlin, editor/publisher of www.AllOTSEGO.com (and Hometown Oneonta & the Freeman’s Journal), outlined what the City of Oneonta plans to do with $14 million received so far from the Cuomo Administration to revitalize the Victorian-era downtown.  Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul was at Foothills last Friday to outlined the half-dozen key projects chosen for funding.
