Whelan: Trump Should Face Charges

Many persons have expressed their intent to pray for Trump after the attempt to assassinate him. They might like to add the names of the nine persons who died as a consequence of the political violence he instigated and supported on January 6th, and which he continues to defend as a legitimate protest against his lost election.

The names are: police officers Kyle DeFreytag, Gunther Hashida, How-ard Liebengood, Brian Sicknick, and Jeffrey Smith; and participants Ashli Babbit, Rosanne Boyland, Kevin Greeson, and Benjamin Phillips.

Approximately 150 other police officers were physically injured.

Trump has incited more political violence than any other American in this century. In addition to his other charges, he should be charged with manslaughter.
